Relying on our expertise and the rich, successful experience of owning and operating Clever, we are now delighted to announce the opening of our new daycare centre, located in University District. We have decided to push the boundaries and respond to the needs of the community by pioneering the first 24-7 childcare facility in Calgary.
At Clever, We uphold the government-approved child-to-staff ratio, although we aim to hold it as our minimum and go beyond it depending on the specific needs. We pride ourselves on hiring qualified, sensitive and kind early childhood professionals who truly enjoy working with children. Our staff is committed to creating an enriching environment for your child and facilitating an ongoing, open relationship with you, the parent.
Our new centre is open to children between the ages of 6 months to 6 years for extended hours. Registration is open to all eligible families, with priority given to children of Alberta Health employees and other shift workers who wish to keep their children safe, warm, and, best of all, nearby.

We are proud to pioneer Calgary’s first extended-hours childcare in a community where the needs are dire. Clever’s extended-hours childcare program is developed to respond to the diverse needs and priorities of the community and busy professionals, in need of reliable, flexible childcare.
We are still learning about the effects of radiation on our children’s health. Every now and then, new research surfaces about the potential threats and risks. At Clever, protecting your child’s health is our number one priority and even the slightest risk is worth preventing. That is why we have decided to keep our premises Wi-Fi free, until and unless we learn that Wi-Fi radiation is absolutely safe.
Built exclusively for Clever daycare centre, our building has been constructed with child-friendly and allergy-proof material that has no short or long-term health effect on children. Our floors are covered with hospital grade floorings, and our rooms are sound-proof to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow, explore, and have fun.
Our centre is close to a Park and adjacent to the Centre Park. Clever has the advantage of accessing these vast green spaces which have proven long-lasting benefits on children’s cognitive functions and mental health.
