La Cité des Rocheuses, a French cultural center in Calgary near Clever Daycare Glamorgan, is putting on their annual Francophone Winter Festival on March 2nd and 3rd. Families can stop by to watch musical acts, plays, and Cirque du Soleil-style performers that will impress and delight kids of any language.

Home Depot stores are putting on workshops across Canada to teach kids woodworking skills while constructing a small butterfly house to take home. Kids will learn to safely handle kid-sized tools under supervision to measure, hammer nails, paint, and assemble an eco-friendly backyard habitat for butterflies in spring.

Little Modern Market at FAC Deerfoot Campus (March 9, 9 AM to 3 PM)

While parents shop booths by over 50 local artisans and small businesses, kids ages 1-9 can play in the FAC Deerfoot Campus’s large indoor playground for just $5.
